KidxMaka one shot

Maka was in the classroom with Soul and the other students, waiting for Stein to come in and start class.  But Stein was late, probably got stuck somewhere in his rolling chair. She picks up her book and starts reading her book. She couldn't concetrate for she noticed someone was staring at her. She looked at Soul who was talking with Black Star about something. She looked the other way and noticed that Death the Kid had just turned away. 'Strange.' she thought to herself and she returned to her book once more. A shadow fall across the page she was reading and she looked up to see Kid staring down at her.
"Hey Kid." She said smiling up at him. "Maka, your pigtails..." he started to say as Stein came rolling in on his chair. "Hey Stein, You're late." said Soul. "Yes I know that. Because today class will be outside for no reason whatsoever." replied Stein turning away smiling. "Oh I don't like where this is going." said Soul.  "Everyone headout." replied Stein. "Do you get the feeling that we're being watched? " asked Liz.  Patty replies "Of course! This is a fanfic after all and someone is bound to be reading this." "What the hell are you talking about ?" "Patty, please stop breaking the wall." says Stein. "Sorry Stein!!! I won't do it again!"
Everyone followed Stein out of the classroom and onto the courtyard where they wait for what was coming next. "Ok Today We're gonna enjoy the nice weather. So yeah go do something." He waves them off. Maka looked around for Kid remembering he wanted to talk to her. She walked around til she found him under a tree reading  a book. Or trying to anyways. He looked distracted, almost as he was advoiding someone or something. "Whats wrong Kid?" she asked as she sat down next to him. "You're pigtails are uneven, let me fix them." As he pulls her close to him she blushes slightly. "Uhm sure if you want to. i don't mind."
Kid wrapped one arm across her chest with the other wrapping around her waist. He leaned in real close to Maka's ear "Ok I was lying about your hair. It's perfectly symmertical. I just wanted to be close to you." She turned around to look at him. "Well you could've just asked me." "I was too.." Before he could finish his sentance, Maka kisses him and he doesn't resist. "Ohhhhhhhhh Kid and Maka sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G..." Patty started to sing. "That so uncool Patty... Maka!! What are you doing?!! yelled Soul.  As Maka tried to explained to Soul what happened Stein and Spirit was watching them with amusment. "I always thought that Maka and Soul were gonna end up together." Spirit said. "Who said that it wasn't gonna happen? Besides she might be afraid to end up in the same situation as you and her mother, and she doesn't want to lose Soul as friend. But of course I'm just assuming most of this." He takes a drag of his cigarette, and looks towards the reader and says "Besides this is only the beginning."
